Crystal Reports Basic For Visual Studio 2008 X64
Posted : admin On 01.01.2020I am using VS2008 and I am building an Web Application with crystal report. As we know along with VS2008 we are provided crystal report basic version that is 10.5.0.0 with Crystal Report Runtimeversion 10.5.0.0.When i try to deploy my website on server it gives me an error 'Crystal Report not supported'. And i got a reply from support that their server support Crystal Report Version 12.3.3.812 which is CR VS2008 SP3.And when i downloaded the version from SAP website, I am not able to upgrade my CR Version please let me know how to upgrade.
I'm trying to install Simply Checking on a Toshiba Satellite A660 Laptop with Win7 PRO-SP1. Crystal reports is used by this app and is part of the download install files but not an integral part of Simply Checking. The install package is a.msi file. When the install gets to Crystal an error occurrs saying this already exists an my PC and I must remove it in order to continue the install.

It's not on my machine. I've used the built in uninstaller have manually gone thriugh the reg used the Visual Studio 2008 removal tool and I still get the same error. I have the app on three desk tops without a problem.
It seems as though this may be unique to Toshiba.If anyone has info regarding this I would be most appreciative. The app supplier is of no help and I haven't had much luck with Google searches. This is a exert from the install log.
