Hello Colleagues,I tried to install the SAP Max Database Studio 7.9.08 in a 64 bit version on a Windows 7 64bit (Intel) PC.The newest version as SAP package 'MAXDBSTDDSK79084-20006288.SAR' downloaded at Service Market Place.After unzip with SAPCAR I executed the Setup 'SDBSETUP.exe' with the default values.Standard path 'C:sapdb.I tried es with different path like 'C:Program Filessapdb. Hello Olli/Yashwanth,many thanks to both of you!Yes, the solution is to change the path to 'C:WindowsSystem32drivers' as notice at SAP Note.After RegKey change installation of NWDS works fine without any errors.I was uncertain about what is the consequences of the Key change to the different applications, etc.Does Windows works as before?The path 'C:WindowsSysWOW64drivers' was the original standard path from a new standard installation!So I had concerns about a simple RegKey change.Many thanks again!Regads,Jochen.
